Time out

That phase of life where you seek more wisdom, more decisiveness, more common sense. When you not only realize but also accept that you can't please everyone. And you stop trying, minimizing the damage as a function of time. When you realize you, at times, have to act as your own sounding board. When you strive not towards material success, but towards a stellar mental and spiritual make up.

Make mistakes
But be gracious enough to apologize

Be sensible enough to learn
And never shy away from good advice

Never pray
For all your desires and wants
But for what you need
It's only the foolish luck daunts

Chin up, level your head
Square you shoulders, walk ahead

Don't be naive
In your desire to please one and all
But keep your humble nature
The more you bow, the taller you are

Keep in touch
With your inner self, it's all within
Pray for wisdom and fortitude
And meet all your troubles with a grin

Chin up, level your head
Square your shoulders, walk ahead

-- To my all sounding boards --
May I always have to strength to get up from a fall.
