Birds

This is one of the classic films of all times. Directed by Alfred Hitchhock, who was already a well known writer by that time. Supposed to be one of the best thrillers of all times.
These stats may ensnare even the most cautious. Right?
.
.
Exactly.

And thus, I sat down one fateful day to watch this 'ingenious' film and after watching it, I feel compelled to warn others about it. Yes. That's the word - 'Warn'.
The movie is about nature at is craziest. This girl lands up in a small town by the lake in pursuit of a man she was supposed to deliver two lovebirds to. And once she gets there, weird happenings begin almost immediately. Basically, ALL the birds there go berserk. Ever single species. They attack anyone and everyone they come across. In fact, these deranged birds end up killing two people and injuring several others. The scenes are horrific alright. People try to speculate the reasons for these kind of happenings and end up talking philosophical gibberish. The birds continue acting crazy and burn up a major chunk of the city. And then one night, the protagonists are attacked. They manage to fight back and flee from the town.
And then it ends.
The movie, I mean.
Just like that.
No explanations.
.
.
.
Idiotic, I would say.

What the heck was happening and why? Why were the birds behaving like that and scaring every single viewer to death? Why? Aren't thrillers supposed to provide the problems AND the answers? Or maybe we are supposed to judge by ourselves which of that philosophical gibberish was true, or maybe come up with our own theory. Maybe the movie was getting too long with its ending in it. Or maybe is was simply made to irritate the hell out of poor, unsuspecting viewers.

Moral of the story: This movie sucked. Do NOT watch it if you value your sanity.
(As for that matter, do not watch 'Delhi Belly' either. I couldn't sit through that movie.)

And yeah, I do need suggestions for some really good movies.
