Yet another poem

I don't know why, but I seem to be spurred on to blog only when I feel poetic. :P Here's another untitled poem:


You've given me a hand, every time I fell,
Watched me go through heaven and hell,


You've shared my laughter and wiped my tears,
Helped me grow and overcome my fears,


Like my pillar of strength, you've always stood by,
Kept me grounded, when I flew too high,


Cheered me on when the going was good,
Made me humble, every time I was rude,


Seen me turn high-headed, and break the friendship vows,
Yet accepted me, despite all my flaws,


Saw me go crazy,and turn back sane again,
And all this while you just stood there, watching like a wise old man,


You've seen me at my best, and you've seen me at my worst,
You've always, always put my happiness first,


You were there for me right from the very start,
And just for being you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
