The clock beeps for the second time and 9:05 greets your eyes. Shucks. The class was at 9. A flurry of search for your slippers and brush follows. You drag yourself to the washroom to check if you look presentable in your night suit. The mirror tells you otherwise but it'll have to do. You overrule combing in favor of a scrunched up pony and grab your notes. Ignoring the lift, you jump down the stairs. As you rush past the mess, you realize you're ravenous.
